History & Story of War Eagle Mill
The original War Eagle Mill was established in 1832 along War Eagle Creek. After being destroyed during the Civil War and later rebuilt, the current mill structure dates to the 1970s, faithfully reconstructed on the original site. Today, it continues the tradition of grinding grain using water power, serving as both a working mill and a historic landmark in Northwest Arkansas.
