History of Perrydell Farm & Dairy
Perrydell Farm was established in 1923, when Howard and Richard Bupp began raising dairy cows on the rolling farmland south of York. The family started bottling their own milk in 1963, delivering directly to customers and building a loyal local following.
Today, the farm milks around 120 Holstein cows, bottles all of its own milk on-site, and produces fresh ice cream in dozens of rotating flavors. The Bupp family continues to emphasize sustainability, quality, and education — welcoming thousands of visitors each year to learn where their milk comes from.
